BRINGING CHILDREN’S FASHION DRAWINGS TO DIGITAL LIFE WITH VSTITCHER

In light of the ongoing pandemic and its impact on each and every one of us, we began to think about how we could bring a hint of sunshine to the lives of others and brighten up their days during these challenging times. We remembered how as kids, creating fashion illustrations was our go-to activity, long before we knew it could end up being a career. This sparked the idea, that with countless children and parents at home why not add a magical twist to their drawings and bring them to life digitally?
We started to reach out to online parents in quarantine communities, asking them to share their children’s fashion drawings, and soon received hundreds. We then approached our network of independent 3D designers to see if they would volunteer their time to transform a child’s drawing into a true-to-life 3D garment. Read more about the project.
It’s inspiring to see how people of all ages, across the world, came together to launch this exciting initiative, and the results speak for themselves.
