Pattern precision that holds up through grading

Technical designers work on cleaning up after the grading. These are those gaps that are addressed with this release.

• Grainline is now editable. Grainlines can be dragged, resized, and repositioned with precision, with an absolute length field that updates symmetrically and legacy files automatically calculating their own length on open. No more approximate placement by eye.
  
  
• Glue that survives grading. A new Glue Across Sizes property keeps the internal-line endpoints attached to the pattern edge on the base size and every graded size at once. What used to need a manual fix for every size now happens automatically.
  
  
• Notches with real range. VStitcher replaces the single I-notch with four different types, I, T, inward V, and castle, each with its own editable length. Set a type once and it carries over to the next notch you place, all the way through to DXF, print, and tech pack export.
  
  
• 2D Fold, designed for production. The 2D Fold tool now supports multiple fold lines at once, and the folded state continues when you switch to the Fast Measure or Pen tool, which now works on folded geometry. Pattern balancing and seam alignment no longer need a physical mockup.

All these updates will result in fewer manual corrections between the pattern and the graded size run and more confidence that what you see on screen is what ships to production.

A workspace that gets out of your way

The best improvements were the ones that you hardly notice any improvement because friction disappears without announcing itself.

• Rulers, on your terms. One toolbar toggle shows or hides all the ruler and measurement lines, so you can clear the 2D view or fit review without touching a single guideline.
  
  
• Guideline cleanup in one pass. Marquee selection now comes with guidelines, bulk delete via Delete key or right-click to remove them, and a show and hide toggle.
  
  
• Curve edits are protected. A new Preferences setting disables the double-click shortcut that changes handle type, so a stray click in Edit Points mode cannot silently corrupt a curve. Handle-type changes stay one right-click away.
  
  
• Flip and rotate, from the keyboard. New customizable shortcuts for both pieces and internal lines are available, so your hands stay on the work.
  
  
• A more consistent interface. We have revamped the Fabric Physics panel and its shortcuts to match VStitcher’s broader design system, and Avatar Size Set provides an overlay with a new Avatar Sets Manager for selecting and organizing multi-size avatar sets, with all sets saved automatically after upgrading.

Exports you can trust the first time

Two updates are targeted at the moment a pattern leaves VStitcher and needs to hold up exactly as designed.

• Print to File and Tech Pack agree now. The same export logic applies wherever you export, with clear radio buttons for single-file versus individual-piece output, per-size checkboxes with an “all sizes” option, and Nest View for multi-size exports. One set of rules, wherever the file is headed. The single-file and individual-pieces choice is now mutually exclusive, so workflows that relied on the previous checkbox combination should confirm the new default before their next export.
  
  
• Vector artwork prints as designed. VStitcher now renders Illustrator blending modes (Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Hue, and Saturation) correctly on imported AI and SVG artwork applied to fabrics, trims, and seams, and maintains that rendering through PDF vector-only export. Embedded bitmaps in those files now render once, in their original position, scale, and rotation, instead of tiling unexpectedly. For teams working with sublimated prints, this removes a recurring round of manual color-matching before a file is ready for production.

Stylezone 7.4: built for a global team

Stylezone’s update is about making collaboration frictionless, wherever your team and your vendors are located.

• Stylezone, now in Simplified Chinese. The full interface is localized, with a language dropdown in Settings, a saved per-user preference, and auto-detection from the browser locale on first login. Login pages, system emails, and any content your team has written yourselves, like style names and comments, stay in their original language.
  
  
• Colorways, one click away. A new button on the style page brings the Colorway Generator to the front in one click, removing a navigation detour from a workflow designers use constantly.
  
  
• AI generation that recovers on its own. If a request to the Pro model fails three consecutive retries, Stylezone automatically falls back to the Flash model instead of returning an error. You get a result without needing to know a model changed underneath you.
  
  
• No more surprise credit cutoffs. A notification is issued once your account balance drops below 5 credits on any generation action, and again when it recovers and drops a second time, so you can plan ahead instead of hitting a wall mid-workflow.
  
  
•  Broader file support on upload. Single and bulk upload to Stylezone now supports generating BW files even when an avatar is missing or the file uses an Alvanon avatar. 

Why this release matters

None of these updates appear in isolation. A grainline you can trust, a notch that holds through export, and glue that survives grading all point toward the same goal: a digital sample your team can approve with the same confidence as a physical one, the first time. That is the promise behind Idea to Twin in Minutes, and it is why we keep investing in the little, unglamorous fixes alongside the bigger ones. They add up to less rework, fewer round-trips, and more time spent designing instead of correcting.
