There is no doubt that one of the most essential ingredients for successful digital transformation is having a digitally-skilled workforce behind it to drive forward the transition. To facilitate companies in building the groundwork for 3D adoption, we recently launched our e-learning platform Browzwear University . This on-demand virtual learning platform enables brands to effectively onboard their personnel to 3D, without being confined to time or place.
The evolving program is structured so that members can gradually go from beginner level to a proficient VStitcher user, through a range of courses, quizzes, and other interactive learning tools. Since launching VStitcher 101, we’ve seen our members power-through and receive their certifications, and as promised, we’re ready to take things up a notch with VStitcher 201.
Whereas the VStitcher 101 course provides a broad overview of the software, VStitcher 201 enables members to move from a beginner to a more intermediate level by diving deeper into the concepts covered in 101 and taking them a step further. For instance, learning how to manipulate an existing garment and transform it into a more detailed piece by adding features such as folds or pleats.
This will also give users more insight into material physics and how fabric behaves when worn on the body. Not only will 201 build upon the skills that have already been mastered, but new tools such as PBR (physically based rendering) to achieve even more realistic results.
It doesn’t stop here, be sure to keep an eye out for our next Browzwear University release, which will be tackling more advanced concepts for users who wish to progress to a professional level. We’re excited to see more and more talented individuals onboard to 3D and use their skills to pave the way for organizations to advance on their digital transformation journeys.
If you’re not yet a member of the university and would like to join, simply reach out to a Browzwear representative who will be happy to help get you started.
